1) Overview
Who we are. Thumboard (“we”, “our”) shows real YouTube thumbnails to help creators find inspiration. Site: thumboard.io · Contact: connect@thumboard.io.
What we show. We display public thumbnails/metadata and link back to the original video/channel. We don’t claim ownership of third‑party content.
2) Privacy Policy
If you browse without an account
- Server logs: IP, user‑agent, timestamp, URL — security/diagnostics; retention ≤ 30 days.
- Cache: search results & thumbnails — retention ≤ 24 hours to keep the site fast.
- No ads, no sale of data.
If you create an account (optional)
- Account data: email (for login), hashed auth identifiers, display name (if added).
- Product data (optional): Collections/favorites.
- Support: messages you send us.
How we use data: operate, secure, and improve Thumboard; respond to support; prevent abuse/outages.
Sharing: service providers (hosting, auth, logging) under contract; legal requests if required. We don’t sell data.
Your rights: subject to law, request access/correction/deletion via connect@thumboard.io. Children: 13+.
4) Analytics (optional)
If enabled, we use privacy‑friendly, aggregated analytics (no cross‑site tracking) to understand usage.
- Data: page views, events, device type, approximate region.
- Purpose: product improvement only.
- Opt‑out/consent: via a simple toggle or banner.
5) YouTube API Services Disclosures
- Some features use YouTube API Services.
- By using those features, you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service and Google Privacy Policy.
- You can revoke access via Google Account → Security → Third‑party access.
- We do not store private YouTube data; we display public thumbnails and metadata with attribution.
6) Content Ownership, Attribution & Takedowns
- Ownership: Thumbnails and logos remain property of their respective owners.
- Attribution: We show the channel name and link to the original video with every thumbnail.
- Permitted use: Use Thumboard for inspiration. For reuse beyond viewing, seek permission from the rights holder.
Takedown / Correction
Email connect@thumboard.io with: Thumboard URL, original video/channel link, request type (Remove/Update credit/Other), and proof of ownership. We’ll review promptly. “YouTube” marks are trademarks of Google LLC.
7) Terms of Use
- Your license: limited, revocable license for personal/internal business inspiration.
- Acceptable Use: don’t scrape at scale, bypass rate limits, republish large sets, infringe IP, remove attribution, or disrupt the service.
- Accounts: keep credentials secure; misuse may lead to suspension/termination.
- Disclaimers: service provided “as is” and “as available.”
- Liability: to the maximum extent permitted by law, Thumboard and its founders are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
- Indemnity: you agree to indemnify Thumboard for misuse/breach.
- Governing Law: Indian law; exclusive jurisdiction in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
8) Security & Data Deletion
Responsible Disclosure
If you find a security issue, email connect@thumboard.io with steps to reproduce. Please avoid public disclosure until fixed.
Data Deletion
- Self‑service: Settings → Delete account (if accounts exist).
- Or email connect@thumboard.io from your account email requesting deletion.
